Scaling a business sustainably without sacrificing is a topic that is often overlooked in the entrepreneurial world. Many gurus and experts preach the hustle and grind mentality, pushing entrepreneurs to work long hours and sacrifice their personal lives for the sake of success. However, this approach is not realistic or sustainable, especially for those who have other responsibilities, such as being a parent.

In this episode I share a bit about my own story and why scaling a business sustainably is important to me. As a mom of two young children, I recognize that I cannot grind and hustle in the same way I did before having kids. I also acknowledge the success of big names in the industry, such as Gary Vaynerchuk, Grant Cardone, Alex Hormozi and Russell Brunson, but I want to emphasize that their strategies may not be suitable for everyone.

For me, success is not just about making millions of dollars; it’s about finding a balance between entrepreneurship and personal life. I believe that success should be defined individually and that it should include rest, healing, and a life outside of being an entrepreneur.

I want to warn aspiring entrepreneurs about the unrealistic expectations and pressures that come with starting and scaling a business. I advise you to prioritize ease over speed, as success takes time and cannot be rushed. I also highlight the many nuances of being successful, including being a good leader, building relationships, and maintaining ethical business practices.
